Selsey’s weather is described as warm and temperate. I have read that some of the glorious sunrises and sunsets can be as good as in the Caribbean. The sun rises over the Medmerry Nature Reserve, and in the summer you need to wake up early to experience it! The sunrise usually wakes me up. Apologies for the ‘dodgy’ photos, have since cleaned the salt off my windows! Sunsets are even more spectacular, viewed over the sea with the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth in the background. The colours are amazing, and when the tide is out, I think they are hard to beat. Sitting on the beach with a cold drink watching the sun go down is my ideal ending to the day.
